Zealously Representing Claimants in the following areas:
SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY INSURANCE (SSDI)
This is the most common type of SSD case. It provides benefits to individuals who have worked and paid Social Security taxes for a certain amount of time and are no longer able to work due to a disability.
SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME (SSI)
This program provides monthly benefits to low-income children and adults who are disabled or blind. Unlike SSDI, SSI does not require a work history or payment of Social Security taxes.
CHILD DISABILITY BENEFITS (CDB)
Children who are disabled and meet certain criteria may be eligible for CDB based on the work history of a parent or guardian who is receiving SSDI or retirement benefits.
DISABLED WIDOW/WIDOWER BENEFITS (DWB)
A surviving spouse who is disabled and meets certain criteria may be eligible for DWB based on the work history of their deceased spouse.
DISABLED ADULT CHILD BENEFITS (DAC)
An adult child who is disabled and became disabled before age 22 may be eligible for DAC based on the work history of a parent who is receiving SSDI or retirement benefits.
ArvandLaw is a Connecticut based practice representing claimants before the Social Security Administration in all 50 states. Services may be provided by associated attorneys licensed in other states.
